Therefore, at the beginning of learning, it may seem that the guitar solos are an impossible thing to do.

However, over time, you will notice that your fingers will move naturally across the strings. So, be patient, you will soon find the right path and master the movements.

2 – Encontre o método de aprendizagem que melhor lhe convier

You basically have three ways to learn a guitar solo:

  • By ear
  • With a lesson, video or live
  • With a tablature

2.1 – Trabalho de ouvido

Learning by ear is the hardest, but also the method that most forces you to understand the music and the sounds the guitar makes.

However, I don't recommend this method if you're a beginner. You need to get a feel for the sounds the strings make first.

2. 2 – Watch a video

Watching a video is a great way to learn how to play the guitar in general, and is particularly effective for learning solos. This is because you can see a person playing, like a mirror, and you can replicate the movements.

It's an especially useful skill to develop because it will allow you to watch other people play and understand what they do.

When working solo, for example, there will be times when you may need to stop watching (pause the video) to identify the strings that have been played. Therefore, this is a very useful method.

2.3 – Aprender com tablaturas

This is a method that has its advantages and disadvantages. The big advantage is that all the notes and all the strings are clearly indicated. You read, understand and put it into practice. This is a very quick way to decipher.

The downside is that you have no indication of what rhythm to feel. You don't know if you're doing it correctly.

So perhaps combining method 2 with 3 would be especially useful.

3 – Repetition

As with everything in life, it is important that you are always repeating the guitar solos so that you can gain agility.

However, it is worth remembering that repetition does not mean speed. When you try to learn at a very fast pace, you are more likely to make mistakes. However, these mistakes can go unnoticed and become something natural, making it difficult to change them later.
